Solomon Reverend heading PNG Christian Training College assists hospitals

A prominent Solomon Islands christian leader, Reverend Eric Takila, who is currently heading a Christian Leaders Training College (CLTC) in Papua New Guinea has led his institution to donate a new year present of 100 cartons of egg to the Mount Hagen General Hospital and Kunjip Nazarene Hospital in the western Highlands Province, yesterday.

According to the PNG National, the goodwill gift of 100 cartons of egg from the Christian Leaders Training College in Banz was shared equally between the two hospitals, in what is expected to be another boost to the quality of meals received by patients at those two hospitals.

During the delivery, acting college Principal Reverend Eric Takila said the donation was a simple token of appreciation for the endless services the two hospitals provide to the people of the province. He said the 100 cartons of eggs cost K5,130 at K51.30 each, and added that a total of 5,400 eggs will benefit each hospital’s patients.

Tepi Hombati, the acting director for finance and administration of the Mount Hagen General Hospital, thanked CLTC for the donation.
