SI Opposition Leader plans to move motion of no confidence against PM
But he says he will not outline the reasons behind the motion until the time is right.
Mr Fono says the decision to move the motion was a decision of the Parliamentary Opposition group, supported by certain factions in the Grand Coalition for Change government.
He says as much as the opposition group wants Manasseh Sogavare to remain Prime Minister, he continues to be a public embarrassment to himself, the government and the nation.
Clerk to Parliament, Taeasi Sanga confirms having received the notice, and says the Speaker has given the go-ahead for the motion to be on the order paper.
Mrs Sanga says Parliament will convene on the second of October.
She says it is now up to the house committee to decide which day Mr Fono will move the motion of no confidence in the Prime Minister.
She says the office of the speaker expects to receive notice of other motions and questions between now and the week ending October 2nd.
