Solomons Marist FC have a good chance to bounce back as Ba FC of Fiji likely to miss key players

The Marist Football Club of Solomon Islands has a good chance of beating the Ba team in their return leg of the Oceania Club O'League match on Monday at Govind Park in western Fiji, as Ba FC may be without five of its key players due to injuries.

It is understood Ba stars including Osea Vakatalesau, Kini Viliame Naika, Roneel Kumar, Shalen Lal and Avinesh Swamy are doubtful starters, as they are still recovering from injuries sustained against Tahiti's A.S Temanava match a fortnight ago.

During the first leg of the O'League match showdown between Ba and Marist at Lawson Tama in Honiara, all the five players above were Ba's top choice players as all are national players in the Fiji Team. Osea Vakatalesau was also the first goal scorer for Ba in that match that ended with a 2-0 win in favour of the Fiji champions in front of some 17,000 disappointed local Solomon fans.

With the guidance of Solomons Brazilian head coach, Airton Andrioli, there is great possibility that Marist can bounce back and turn the tables on Ba in front of their Fiji fans. The Ba/Marist club match will kick off at 5pm on Monday next week.
