Brazilian Airton Andrioli steps in to guide Marist FC in an effort to beat Ba FC of Fiji

The Solomon Islands Football Federation Secretariat has directed head coach Airton Andrioli to assist in Marist FC's preparation following its dismal performance in Honiara last month.

Marist suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of the Ba FC and the SIFF secretariat would like to reverse this result. In light of that, Andrioli has spent time working on an effective strategy to counter Ba's formation and style of play.

The Brazilian confirms he received direction from the SIFF General Secretary Eddie Ngava to asssit Marist regain its lost pride.

Fiji's glamour club Ba FC is currently sitting on the top of the table in group B following its win and draw against Marist and AS Temanava of Tahiti respectively in their recent meets.

And Andrioli will try and reverse this result when Marist meets Ba at Govind Park Monday week.
