Arnon Atomea Community High School at Malu'u in North Malaita commences form six this year

Arnon Atomea Malu'u Community High School in North Malaita has introduced Form Six classes this year.

It is understood the Principal, School Board and parents of the school have worked hard to reach this stage of education in North Malaita.

However, SIBC's correspondent in North Malaita, John Kiri reports that parents who live far away from the school are concerned about the lack of accommodation for their children attending Form Six classes at the school.

Mr Kiri says parents who live far from Malu'u are requesting the principal and school board to work hard in upgrading the school to a boarding school for North Malaita.

They are also urging both the Malaita Provincial and national governments to help upgrade the school to a boarding School in the near future.

With the introduction of form six at Arnon Atomea Community High School, it would serve as a model in the North Malaita region as being the only school in North Malaita to offer form six classes.
