Former PM accuses government of doing nothing

Former Prime Minister Sir Allan Kemakeza had accused the Government of doing nothing, except creating enemies since coming into power five months ago.

Sir Allan says this while debating the Speech from the throne which Governor General Sir Nathaniel Waena delivered during the opening meeting of Parliament on Monday.

Sir Allan says the new government had inherited the former Government policies such as the bottom up approach in development.

He says the speech fail to thank the private sector which he says is important for Government survival.

Sir Allan says it is the private sector that government depends on for taxes which helps pay salaries of public officers and politicians and meet the costs of government services.
