TARD organises academic training on Essay and Research report writing

The To'abaita Authority for Research and Development (TARD), under its objective to encourage and promote excellence amongst its members, has successfully organised an academic training session on writing for its members today at the University of the South Pacific, Suva, Fiji.

The 3-hour training session was organised by the TARD leaders for To'abaita, Baelelea and other interested Solomon Islands students. Topics that were covered include:

1. Mastering Essay writing, and
2. How to write an A+ Academic Research Report/paper

According to the students who have attended the training, they have learnt a lot of new ideas and experiences on how to make sense of essay topics, how to collect information, how to overcome the writer's block, and how to add finishing touches that will make their papers outstanding from normal essays.

Another session that will be convened by TARD soon will cover how to write funding proposals for community development projects, how to write a good resume/CV, how to write a good cover letter, and how to prepare for and/or handle an interview process.

Finally, we are indeptly thankful to the students above who have participated in the TARD training and ensuring that it is successful.
