A Report on TARD's Live Coverage of the Election Results through our Website has been submitted to the International Election Observers today

We are pleased to inform all of you that the To'abaita Authority for Research and Development (TARD) has made history by bringing the 2006 election results live to Solomon Islanders abroad through our website.

We see the importance of bringing the election results live to the doorsteps of fellow Solomon Islanders who are abroad. As a result we have volunteered, through our reliable sources in Honiara and Malaita, to provide live coverages of the election results and updates beginning on Wednesday (05/04/06) to Sunday (09/04/06) assisting more than 100 Solomon Islanders in over 20 countries throughout the world. You might notice during the above period, if you accessed our webpage that we have provided online election updates to a record number of users with a minimum of 100 and a maximum of 157 from more than 25 countries throughout the world, over each 24 hour period. This is something that promoted our To'abaita image.

The feedbacks that we get from our online users during that period are encouraging and they all seemed to be very happy with the service that we provided. As a result, we have submitted a report to Steven Wagenseil of the International Election Observers in Honiara, so that they can add a line of our live coverage of the election in their final report that will be submitted to the government and public.

The report has been forwarded to our TARD members but we are happy to provide copies if requested. Further questions or feedbacks can be made to us either by:
P.O Box U40, Suva, Fiji
Mobile: (679) 9350159

Finally, TARD would like to thank our contacts who have made the live coverage possible. A big thank you to:
1. Joe Inomae at SIBC and the admin of
2. Lynold Wini in Honiara and the admin of
3. The PF Net Operator at Silolo Email Station.
