The polls have been declared close
The Solomon Islands National General Election 2006 has just been declared closed. According to reports from several polling stations throughout the country, it has been described as relatively incident free without much disruption. Counting for all centers will start tomorrow at 8am whilst the results for most constituencies will be known by tomorrow afternoon. The last results should be released by Saturday.
