Crowd Demand PM Rini to Resign Immediately

A huge crowd has blocked the gate to Parliament demanding that the newly elected Prime Minister Snyder Rini resign immediately.

From the Governor General's announcement of the new prime minister, the crowd's reaction was a negative one.

The crowd has moved to the western entrance of parliament, and refused to move out unless the prime minister resign.

They say the country needs a change of people in the new government.

The crowd see the election of former deputy prime minister to the country's top political post as not a change in government.

SIBC reporters at Parliament say the police is doing its best to calm the crowd.
